Career Maps around Data Visualization: Mapping the different career paths taken by Data Viz enthusiasts in the room

The success of the session depends on the assumption that the participants are data visualization enthusiasts. The intention of the session is to enable people to open up and share their career aspirations, the paths that they have taken, where they are in the path, the factors influencing their career choices and see if some patterns emerge through the discussions and collective activities. The session shall be divided in different rounds where each round will be focused on 1 aspect alone, resulting into a visualization after each round. The hope is that at the end of the session, we get a comprehensive visualization leading to collective understanding of the "Career Maps around Data Visualization" by the participants of the talk. In the past, I have conducted similar sessions at Dessau, Germany as a part of bi-weekly voluntarily organized sessions called 'ESC'. Additionally, I've also been a Erasmus+ facilitator.
